Hi! I'm Grace. I have a BA, MA and PhD in History from the University of Birmingham. Since graduating, I have worked at various UK Universities teaching students about academic skills. I have a passion for making the confusing, and often intimidating, world of academic writing more understandable for students. More recently, I have began sharing my tips via TikTok, to an audience of nearly 20,000 and growing (@drgfrance).

I did not find University easy: and that is why I do what I do. I want to share what I have learned throughout my own studies, and throughout supporting others', with those who want to do their best.
